AUTRYVILLE
Mrs. Carolyn Horne Fisher, 69 of 1122 Jordan Road, Autryville, died Sunday at the Sampson Regional Medical Center.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with Rev. Larry Autry and Rev. Richard Spell officiating. Burial will follow in the Fisher Cemetery.
Mrs. Fisher was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of the late William Ashford and Lonney Pearl Carter Horne. She was preceded in death by her husband, William James Fisher, two sisters, Margaret Phillips and Vickie Pearl Horne and two brothers, James Horne and William Horne. She was former owner of Autryville Café and retired from Lakewood Plaza Restaurant in Roseboro.
She is survived by two daughters, Marie Collister of Autryville and Pam Clark of Stedman; three sons, James Fisher of Bamberg, SC, Robert Fisher and Donald Fisher both of Autryville;five sisters, Mary Hall and Ellen Smith both of Clinton, Edna Honeycutt and Helen Freeman both of Stedman, and Vivian Hendrick of Fredericksburg, VA; two brothers, David Horne of Long Island, NY and Rayford Horne of Roseboro; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman and at other times at the home.
