Mrs. Carolyn Marie (James) Edge, 75, of White Oak, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Faith Baptist Church in White Oak with Reverend Bruce Suggs officiating. The burial will follow at Faith Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM – 1:50 PM on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at Faith Baptist Church prior to the service.

Mrs. Carolyn was born in Sandy Spring, Maryland, the daughter of Claude James and Edith Shifflet James. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Roger James; and two sisters, Linda Delph and Norma Minters.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 56 years, Jerry Edge, of the home; three daughters, Brenda Edge of White Oak, Victoria Bullock and husband Aaron of St. Pauls, Marcella McManus and husband David of Raleigh; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Diane Price and Jeanie Ramey; and two brothers, Michael James and Allen James.
