STEDMAN Ms. Carolyn Lowberg, 65 of 1213 Wade-Stedman Road, Stedman, died on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at her home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Elizabeth Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Taylor officiating. Ms. Lowberg was born on March 12, 1947 in Sampson County to the late Samuel and Mary Isabel Lewis Lowberg. She was a homemaker. She is survived by: her son, David Samuel Hassin of San Francisco, CA; her mother, Mary Isabel Lewis Benner of Stedman; and her sister, Marilyn L. Hubbard and husband, Herman Broadus of Stedman. The family will receive friends on Saturday morning following the service.
