Mrs. Carol Jean Cannady

CLINTON Mrs. Carol Jean (Parker) Cannady, 70, of 2669 Odom Rd died Friday, February 1st at Sampson Regional Medical Center. A native of Sampson County, she was the daughter of Coyier Clarence Parker and Daisy Naylor Parker. She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Josie Abagail Cannady. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 4, 2008 at Mount Moriah United Methodist Church with Rev. Andy Wood and Rev. Clyde Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at Parker Cemetery. Mrs. Cannady is survived by her husband, Joseph L. "Joe" Cannady of the home; two sons, J. Phill Cannady and wife Janie of Clinton and C. Lee Cannady and wife Donna, also of Clinton; a brother, William Brady Parker and wife Ann of Salemburg; five grandchildren, Coyier L. Cannady and wife Bridgette, Courtney Michelle Cannady, Cody Lee Cannady, Jada Holland Cannady and Margo Barrow; two great grandchildren, Dylan Cannady and Leanne McClenny. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Sunday, February, 3, 2008 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
