Mr. Carlos E. Parker, 71

CLINTON Mr. Carlos Eugene Parker, 71 of 2621 Honeycutt Road, died on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. at Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church with Rev. Andy Wood officiating. Burial will follow at the Parker Family Cemetery in Clinton. Mr. Parker was born on December 8, 1938 in Sampson County to the late Paul Eugene and Beulah Honeycutt Parker. He worked as a Farmer. Mr. Parker is survived by: one sister, Christine Byrd of Burlington; four brothers, Fulton Parker and wife, Edith of Eastover, Winford Parker and wife, Lila, Ottis Parker and Ernest Parker, all of Clinton; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 7 to 9 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro, and other times at the home of Winford and Lila Parker, 2740 Odom Road, Clinton.
