Mr. Carl Braston Tyndall, 76 of Salemburg, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Holland’s Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church Family Life Center, with Pastor Randy Anderson, Pastor Billy Hall, Pastor Daniel Lewis and Pastor Eartle McNeill officiating.  Burial will follow in the Zoar Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors.

The family will receive friends from 1:00  - 2:50 PM on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at the Holland’s Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church Family Life Center prior to the service.  At other times the family will receive friends at the home of Carla Tyndall-Matthews, 3725 Tyndall Bridge Road, Salemburg, NC.

Mr. Tyndall was born in Sampson County on October 11, 1948 to Garley Braston and Annie Bell Hairr Tyndall.  He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Idell Holland and Reese Simmons and a brother, O. C. Tyndall.  He was an Army Veteran.  He worked for many years as a Network Technician for Carolina Telephone.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Dianne Tyndall of the home; two sons, Chris Tyndall and wife Beth of Asheboro and Braston Tyndall and wife, Jessie of Clinton; a daughter, Carla Tyndall-Matthews and husband, Craig of Salemburg; two granddaughters, Cara Gray Matthews and Payton Tyndall; a sister, Janice Nettles of Salemburg and a brother, Huston Tyndall and wife, Gail of Salemburg.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Falcons Children’s Home, 7569 West Street, Falcon, NC  28342, Holland’s Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery Fund, 2069 Huntley School Road, Roseboro, NC  28382 or to Zoar Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 740 Zoar Church Road, Salemburg, NC  28385.
