ROSEBORO

Mr. Carl James "Jimmy" Horne, 70 of 1220 Microwave Tower Road, Roseboro, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2016 at his home.

The funeral will be held at 11:00 am Thursday at Evergreen Baptist Church, 9626 NC Hwy. 210 S., Autryville, with Reverend Tommy Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow at New Hollywood Cemetery, 5th Street, Lumberton.

Born on May 11, 1946 in New Hanover County, he was the son of the late Luther Carl and Melba Grace Watley Horne. He worked as a Plumber.

He is survived by his daughters, Candace Peters of Roseboro, Michelle Horne of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Alexia Horne, Destiny Horne, Anthony Winstead; sister, Mary Hutchins of Autryville; and brother, David Horne of Stedman.

The visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, and other times at the home of his sister, 10047 NC Hwy. 210 S., Autryville.
