Mr. Calvin Lee Parker, 87 of Roseboro, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017.

The funeral will be held at 3:00pm Friday, November 17, at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, with Reverend Eddie Smith and Reverend Bryan Strickland officiating. Burial will follow at Roseboro Cemetery.

Born January 27, 1930 in Harnett County, he was the son of the late Donnie Lee and Alice Blackman Parker. He was preceded in death by his parents; and son, Larry Wayne Haney. He worked as a Foreman in underground telephone cable.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Hall Parker of the home; sons, Robert L. and wife Brenda V. Haney of Autryville, Kenneth L. and wife Ellen H. Parker of Salemburg, Calvin R. and wife Judy S. Parker of Roseboro, and Johnny M. and wife Patricia S. Parker of Clinton; daughter-in-law, Brenda Brow of Lake Gaston; nine grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; half-sister, Della Mae Lewis of Hope Mills; and half-brother, Clifton Wade of Fayetteville.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 2:45pm Friday prior to the service, and other times at the home of his son, Johnny, 4000 Roseboro Highway, Clinton.

Services are by Butler Funeral Home of Roseboro.
