Mrs. Brilla Jane Wood, 84

EASTOVER

Mrs. Brilla Jane Wood, 84 of Eastover passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at the Cape Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, May 3, 2015 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with Pastor Don Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow in the Stedman Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery.

Mrs. Wood was born on December 29, 1930 in the Cedar Creek Community, to the late Harvey and Leola Strickland Hall. She was the wife of the late Eldridge Wood and was preceded in death by two brothers, Buck Hall and Clifford Hall and one sister, Dora Catherine Hall. She was a graduate of the Stedman High School and was a homemaker.

She is survived by a daughter, Elaine Vinson and husband, Dean of Eastover; a grandson, Danny Vinson and wife, Summer of Clement; two great grandchildren, Caleb Vinson and Presley Vinson; one sister, Dorothy Horne of Fayetteville; adopted son, Kenneth Packer and wife, Sandy; two adopted granddaughters, Korissa and Kelsie; and a very special friend, Darlene Usry.

The family will receive friends from 1-2:45 PM Sunday at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
