Mrs. Brenda Carol Humphrey Burchette, of Roseboro, passed from this life to her eternal life to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 7, 2024 at her home.
Her wishes were to have no funeral. Her remains will be cremated. A small gathering will take place for family and close friends in the near future. All will be notified of the arrangements.
Mrs. Brenda worked as a CNA at Cape Fear Valley and Bladen Memorial Hospitals for 11 years before retiring for medical reasons.
She loved fishing, oysters, crabs, Dr. Pepper, cooking, but most of all her family, all of her family.
She was born in Onslow County, the daughter of Jesse James Humphrey and Barbara Alice PaQuay. She is preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Curtis Henry Faircloth, and David Lee Revels; and a sister, Debbie Jones.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Kenneth “Dewayne” Burchette; a daughter, Tina Lynn Faircloth Gray and husband Jay; daughter-in-law, Christina Faircloth; three step children, Christina Necole Burchette and husband James, Jillian Gray McLamb and husband Tray, and Jared Wayne Burchette; a brother, Jesse James Humphrey II; and a sister, Cindy Fagan and husband Fred; and eight grandchildren, Ryan Faircloth, Reilly Faircloth, Cadan Tyndall, Marlee Shea Gray, Wyatt Revels, Alex Jones, Lizzy McLamb, and Wade McLamb; and soon to be first great grandchild.
