Mrs. Bonnie Kay Carter, 64

FAYETTEVILLE Mrs. Bonnie Kay Carter, 64 of 4544 Dudley Road, died on Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at her home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Gore officiating. Burial will follow at Judson Baptist Church Cemetery in Fayetteville. Mrs. Carter was born in 1946 in Rocky Mount, Virginia, to the late Dwight "Hess" and Estelle Hodges Hester. She worked as a Deed Vault Supervisor with the Cumberland County Register of Deeds. She is survived by: her husband, Roger Ray Carter, Sr. of the home; two daughters, Robin Lynn Carter and Renee Carter both of Fayetteville; one son, Roger Ray Carter, Jr. of Fayetteville; and four brothers, Johnny Hester of Fayetteville, Grayson Hester of Wade, Gregory Hester of Fayetteville and Donnie Swanson of Stedman. The family will receive friends on Saturday morning from 10 to 11 A.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman and other times at the home.
