Bobby Carrol Tatum, 79

ELIZABETHTOWN

Mr. Bobby Carrol Tatum, 79 of the Ammon Community, Elizabethtown, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00pm Monday, September 18, at Windsor United Methodist Church with Reverend Brock Meyer and Reverend Charlie Tatum officiating. The visitation will be held from 6:00 to 7:00pm prior to the service.

Born on April 25, 1938 in Bladen County, he was the son of the late Dannie and Mae Butler Tatum. He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Norman, Rex, Donald, and Jerry Tatum.

He is survived by his wife, Betty L. Tatum of the home; sons, Les Tatum of Missouri, Kelsey and Shannon Tatum of Elizabethtown; step-daughter, Terry Robinson of the home; step-son, Shane Hulet of Elizabethtown; brothers, Lewis and Yvonne Tatum of Elizabethtown, Larry Tatum of Elizabethtown; sisters, Lib Brennan of Elizabethtown, Deborah and Thomas Jernigan of Lumberton, Jennie and Ron Deming of Hope Mills, Ann Long of Baltimore, Maryland; grandson, Trent and Brandy Tatum of Missouri; great granddaughters, Adreana, Lauren, Katelyn of Missouri; numerous nieces and nephews who were very special to their Uncle Carrol.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Windsor United Methodist Church, 12863 NC Highway 242 N., Elizabethtown, NC 28337.
