Bobby Edwards, 74  of Garland went to his eternal home on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.  He will be greatly missed by all of his many friends and family.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman, Rev. Joseph Ammons will be officiating.  Burial will follow at T. J. Hall Cemetery in Autryville.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 2:50 PM Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Bobby worked at Massey Ferguson and The Big Blue Store in Clinton for many years.  He then worked at DSI until he retired in late 2022.

Mr. Edwards was a native of Sampson County born January 22, 1949 to the late Benjamin and Annie Ruth Edwards.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Lynwood, James, and Billy Edwards; and his stepson, Bryan Hackler.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Shearin Edwards; son, Michael Edwards & wife, Aaron of Clinton; son, Richard Edwards & wife, Holly of Clinton; grandchildren, Jake, Anna, Aubrey and Taylor Edwards; stepsons, Daniel and Mark Hackler of Autryville; stepdaughter, Jenny Wilson & husband, Kenny of Stedman; and step grandsons, Ayden, Lucas, and Seth Wilson.
