FAYETTEVILLE Mr. Bobby Earl Edge, 70 of Fayetteville died on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, May 22 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with Pastor Michael Bartlett and Dr. Odell Peterson officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Salemburg. Mr. Edge was a native of Cumberland County, the son of the late Leamon and Lillie Faircloth Edge. He was an appliance repairman. He is survived by his wife, Faye Edge of the home; two daughters, Brenda Pierce and Pamela Alexander both of Fayetteville; four sisters, Magdalene Melvin of Autryville, Aslean Edge and Ernestine Simmons both of Roseboro and Kathleen Davis of Fayetteville; two brothers, Robert Edge of Roseboro and Billy Edge of Benson; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 21 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and at other times at the home of his daughter, Pamela Alexander, 5151 Hewitt Drive, Fayetteville, NC.
