Mr. Bobby Joshua Benson, 81

ROSEBORO Mr. Bobby Joshua Benson, 81, of 10463 Hwy 24, Roseboro, died July 6, 2013, at Sampson Regional Medical Center. There will be a funeral at 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with Rev. Andy Wood and Rev. Hampton Faircloth officiating. Burial will follow at the Zoar Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Cemetery. Mr. Benson was born on May 20, 1932, in Johnston County to the late Outher R. and Mary Lessie Hargis Benson. He is also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Angela Brooke Benson. He was a truck driver for Plastic Tubing Co. He is survived by: his wife, Evelyn Doris Benson of the home; two daughters, Linda C. Benson of Havelock and Roberta Benson Moody and husband, Mike of Havelock; two sons, Bobby R. Benson of Roseboro and Jerry D. Benson of Roseboro; two grandchildren, Michael Moody, Jr. and Joshua Benson. The family will receive friends Monday evening July 8, 2013, from 6 to 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro.
