GARLAND

Mrs. Blannie Leigh Smith Hall, 101 of 13575 NC Highway 242 N., Garland, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Poplar Heights Center in Elizabethtown.

She was born August 6, 1915 in Bladen County and was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her parents, Geddie Ransom and Ada Edge Smith; husband, Clarence Terry Hall, Sr.; children, Elliott Hall, Clarence "Bill" Hall, Jr., Hilda Graham, Elizabeth Hall, Ina L. Hall, Tarry Hall.

She is survived by her children, Helen Jernigan and husband Walter, Juanita Padgett and husband Lavern, Patricia Barnes and husband Ralph; sister, Ruth Shaw; 17 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 15 great-great grandchildren; daughters-in-law, Virginia Hall, Shirley Hall, Brenda Hall.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday at Windsor United Methodist Church, 12863 NC Highway 242 N., Elizabethtown, with Reverend Brock Meyer and Reverend Dodd Drake officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the Fellowship Hall following the graveside service, other times at her home.
