Mrs. Blanche E. Vinson, 94

ROSEBORO Mrs. Blanche Elsie Vinson, 94 of 11321 NC Highway 210 S., died on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at her home. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. at Beaver Dam Baptist Church with Dr. Lynn Bullock officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Vinson was born on April 18, 1916 in Camden, New Jersey, to the late Walter and Edith Carter. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Vinson. She worked as a Retail Store Sales Clerk. Mrs. Vinson is survived by: one daughter, Edith Roberson of Roseboro; one son, Louis Collins of Roseboro; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro, and other times at the home. Arrangements by Butler Funeral Home, 401 W.
