Mr. Billy Lee Wiggs, Sr.

AUTRYVILLE Mr. Billy Lee Wiggs, Sr., 81, of 8224 Beaver Dam Road, passed away Friday, Oct. 31, 2008 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. A funeral service will be held on Monday, Nov. 3, 2008 at 3:00 pm at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman with Pastor Donald Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow in Stedman Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery. Mr. Wiggs was born on Nov. 12, 1926 in Wayne County and the son of the late Jarvis and Ethel Price Wiggs. He was a telephone lineman for many years and was a World War II veteran serving in the United States Army. Mr. Wiggs is survived by: four daughters, Catherine Randol, of Raeford, Alice Randol, of Fayetteville, Joanne Wiggs and Stefanie Wiggs, both of the home; three sons, Billy Wiggs, Jr., Marshall Wiggs and James Wiggs, all of Fayetteville; brother, Bobby Wiggs, of Eastover. The family will recieve friends on Sunday night from 6-8 pm at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
