Mr. Billy Gene Seger, 79 of 524 Dillon Street, Roseboro, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015 at his home.
A memorial service will be held 6:00 pm Wednesday, September 16 at Butler Funeral Home, Roseboro, with Rev. Paul Honeycutt and Rev. James Hughes officiating.
Mr. Seger was born July 10, 1936 in Union County, Mississippi, and worked as a Surveyor with Moormon, Little & Kiser Surveying Company. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Homer Elrod and Viola Laquida Kirk Seger; his wife, Beulah Virginia Seger; seven brothers, Homer D. Seger, Charles W. Seger, Richard D. Seger, Donald M. Seger, Murray P. Seger, Robert D. Seger, Ernest Seger; and three sisters, Leatrice Nichols, Linda Rutherford, Virginia Nelson.
He is survived by one daughter, Deborah S. Forgach and husband Richard of Stedman; two sons, Ronald Seger and wife Carrie of Autryville, Billy Thomas "Butch" Seger of Roseboro; two sisters, Carolyn Jackson of New Albany, MS, Mae Moody of Houlka, MS; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends following the service Wednesday evening at Butler Funeral Home, Roseboro, and other times at the home.
