Mr. Billy Guinn Edwards, 77 of Roseboro, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at his home.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 4 at Mintz Baptist Church with Dr. John McBride officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 1:50 PM at the church prior to the service.
Mr. Edwards was a native of Sampson County, the son of Benjamin and Annie Ruth Benton Edwards. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Franklin Edwards. He was a retired flooring contractor.
He is survived by his wife, Betsy Edwards of the home; son, Billy Wayne Edwards of Salemburg; daughter, Shelia E. Hall of Autryville; brother, Bobby Ray Edwards of Parkersburg; two granddaughters, Sara M. Hall and Katie A. Hall.
Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, NC.
