CLINTON Mr. Billy Carroll Draughon, 73, of 3715 The Avenue, died Saturday, May 25, 2013, at Sampson Regional Medical Center. The funeral will at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at Holland's Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Steven Dixon officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Mr. Draughon was born on May 6, 1940, in Sampson County to the late Lattie and Mildred Autry Draughon. He is survived by: his wife, Jeannette Young Draughon, of the home; two daughters, Rhonda D. Green and husband, Lynn of Fuquay Varina and Renee D. Carroll and husband, Mike of Raleigh; his son, Randy Draughon and wife, Deborah of Garner; special aunt, Virginia Draughon, of Oriental; two sisters, Faye Daino and husband, Tony of Wilmington and Judy Parker and husband, Sammy of Clinton; one brother, Lattie Draughon, Jr., and wife, Carole of South Dakota; six grandchildren, Andrew Draughon and wife, Samantha, Chris Draughon, Stephen Draughon, Michael Draughon, Carson Carroll and Caleb Carroll; step-grandchildren, Jamie Harding, Megan Foley and husband, Patrick, Alex Anderson and husband, Steven and Quaid Harding and one great-grandchild, Sylar Draughon. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. prior to the funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holland's Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church or to a charity of your choice. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro.
