Mrs. Beverly Francis Peak Carter, 81 of Godwin, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 3, 2024.

A Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Cumberland Memorial Gardens with Reverend Louis Pender officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:30-2:30 PM on Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman prior to the service.

Mrs. Carter was a native of Jefferson County in Louisville Kentucky, the daughter of Carl Timothy Peak, Sr. and Agnes Lorain Peak. She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Edward Stanton Clark, Jr.; and a sister, Carla Sue Wheeler.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Roy Carter; a son, Timothy Mitchell Clark, a daughter, Tina Lynn Clark; a brother, Carl Timothy Peak, Jr. and wife Carrol; a sister, Judith Ann Norris and husband John; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
