Mrs. Beulah Virginia Seger, 73, of 524 Dillon Street, passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2010 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at 7:00 PM at Butler Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Herring officiating.
Mrs. Seger was born in Sampson County to the late Thomas Mason and Beulah Faircloth Sessoms. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Hiram Sessoms, Edward Thomas Sessoms, James Albert Sessoms and five sisters, Agnes Nunnery, Daisy Riley, Lillie Warren, Katie Boswell and Betty Jean Sessoms. She was a member of Andrews Chapel United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Seger is survived by: husband, Billy Gene Seger, of the home; two sons, Ronald Wayne Seger and wife Carrie of Autryville and Billy Thomas "Butch" Seger, of the home; daughter, Deborah Forgach and husband Richard of Stedman; brother, Cecil Nelson Sessoms and wife Annie of Clinton; two sisters, Elizabeth Lamb, of Roseboro and Susie Wells, of Castle Hayne; 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday night following the memorial service.
