Ms. Betty Ray Overton, 66

AUTRYVILLE Ms. Betty Ray Overton, 66, of Autryville, died February 7, 2014, at Woodlands Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at 2:00 P.M. at Sunrise Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bryan Strickland officiating. Ms. Overton was born on July 24, 1947, in Sampson County to the late Marion and Jennie Barbuto Phillips. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Graham Overton and one son, Richard Phillips. She is survived by: two daughters, Tracy Lewis and Cindy Lowe both of Brunswick County; one son, Daniel Scott Bell of Tennessee; four sisters, Peggy Rivenbark of Wilmington, Allie Mae Helms of Oklahoma, Gloria Thompson of Fredericksburg, VA, and Mary Benson of Rocky Point; one brother, Michael Phillips of Rocky Point; two grandchildren, Aiden Bell and Willow Lewis; her significant other, Robert McKinley and father-in-law, George Overton and her loving companion, Hershey. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45 P.M. prior to the service at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro, and other times at the home. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W.
