Mrs. Betty Jane Mclaurin Starling, 68

WADE Mrs. Betty Jane McLaurin Starling, 68 of 4362 South River School Road, Wade passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at her home. The funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, Sept. 26 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with the Rev. Joe Ammons officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, Sept. 27 at the T. J. Hall Cemetery in Autryville. Mrs. Starling was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of the late George Evander and Laura Maglene Hall McLaurin. She was preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Ann Jones. She was a homemaker and a member of Faith Covenant Family Church in Dunn. She is survived by her husband, James "Richard" Starling of the home; two daughters, Beverly Jane Vagle of Big Lake, MN and Bobbi Jean Munsey Wade; two sons, George Edward Starling of Godwin and John Randall Starling of Wade; three sisters, Laura Sherin Perkins of Garland, Bonnie Pearl Packer of Fayetteville and Tammy Halene Ammons of Autryville; three brothers, George Arthur McLaurin of Stedman, Lonnie Earl McLaurin and John Franklin McLaurin both of Autryville; and six grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-7 PM Friday at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman and at other times at the home. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman, NC. The funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, Sept. 26 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with the Rev. Joe Ammons officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, Sept. 27 at the T. J.
