Mrs. Betty Catherine Jones, 75

ROSEBORO Mrs. Betty Catherine Brock Jones, 75 of 341 McDaniel's Road, Roseboro, died on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. The funeral service will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, October 21, 2011 at Butler Funeral Home with Rev. James Earl Hughes officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday at Grandview Memorial Park in Clinton. Mrs. Jones was born on December 13, 1935 in Johnston County to the late John Henry and Alma Lee Brock. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lawrence P. Jones; two brothers, Roy and Henry Brock; and a sister, Mary Brock Stanley. She worked in the textile industry. She is survived by: one brother, John Leonard Brock of Clinton; three sisters, Mildred Brock West of Clinton, Shirley Brock Rushing of Florida, and Hilda Brock Harvey and husband, Radford of Florida; her best friend, Sue Ammons; and her dog, Chipper. The family will receive friends on Friday evening following the service at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a Diabetes Foundation or to one's charity of choice. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W.
