Mrs. Betty Mae Howard Mcdonald

Mrs. Betty Mae Howard McDonald, 77, of 629 Gray Street, Autryville, passed away Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008 at Chatham County Hospital in Siler City. A funeral service will be held Sunday, March 2, 2008 at 2:30 pm at Autryville Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronald Long and Rev. Bob Patterson officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, Salemburg. Mrs. McDonald was the daughter of the late Edgar T. and Willie Mae Jones Howard. She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. McDonald, her children, Margaret Ann McDonald, Michael McDonald and Carolyn Faircloth. She was also preceded in death by a brother Eddie Howard. Mrs. McDonald is survived by: daughter, Linda Sanders, of Morrisville; four sons, William R. McDonald, Jr., of Garner, Steve McDonald, of Morrisville, Richard Thomas McDonald, of Siler City and Douglas McDonald, of Lynchburg, VA; two brothers, Edgar Thomas Howard, of Louisville, KY and Richard Howard, of LaGrange; one sister, Peggy Patterson, of Durham; 13, grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. The family will receieve friends on Saturday night, March 1, 2008 from 6-8 pm at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
