Ms. Betty Mae (Horne) Naylor, 76 went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 05, 2023 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center with her family by her side.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at Stedman Pentecostal Holiness Church, officiating will be Rev. Michael Bartlett.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:50 PM Wednesday at the church prior to the service.

Betty worked in the grocery business for many years, and along with her husband they owned Naylor’s Grocery in Stedman for many, many years.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Verna Horne; and her sisters, Dorothy Naylor and Mary Hardison.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 62 years, Richard Dwight Naylor of the home; children, Cindy Naylor Culbreth & husband, Ken of Stedman, and Dwayne Naylor & wife, Sonya of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Megan Barefoot (Brooks) of Newton Grove, James Culbreth (Schaffer) of Stedman, Cameron Naylor (Samantha) of Fayetteville, and Alyssa Naylor (Allan) of Boone; and her sisters, Vivian Autry & husband, Delmore of Autryville, and Lucille Carter of Clinton.
