God finally called home Bettie Ruth (Johnson) Page, 92, on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at her home in Roseboro surrounded by family.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at Butler Funeral Home with the Reverend Dennis Bryson and Marcus Page officiating. The burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
She was born in Sampson County to the late Percy Cecil Johnson, Sr. and Lola Madge King Johnson. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Leslie Kenneth Page; her son, Randy Earl Page; four sister and two brothers.
She is survived by her family: two daughters, Phyllis Page-Bryson (Wayne) and Nancy Page (Rob); her son, Glenn Page (Leanne); her grandson, Marcus Page (Erica); step-granddaughter, Kari Barnett (Josh); step-grandson, Casey Strickland (Rachel); two special sons of the heart, Al Williams and Graham Shaw; four great-granddaughters, Ryleigh Page, Kinsley Page, Ansleigh Kate Barnett and Haddie Strickland; and many nieces and nephews.
The family gratefully extends love and gratitude to all their mother's caregivers: Janice Godwin, Amanda Godwin, Jackie Franklin, Denise Hall, Gentiva Hospice (Tommie, Shannon, Taylor, Mikki, Dr. Sessoms, Dr. Watts) and Dr. Seth Thomas.
The family also wishes to thank everyone for their prayer and support.
