Mrs. Berthenia Tyndall Jones, 86

Mrs. Berthenia Tyndall Jones, 86, of 1041 Asbury Road, Fayetteville, passed away Thursday at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton. Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 9, 2006 at 3:00 PM at Butler Funeral Home, Roseboro with the Rev. Paul Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Salemburg. Mrs. Jones was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of the late Ronnie and Allie Beal Tyndall. She was the wife of the late W.F. "Billy" Jones and was preceded in death by her son, William "Ronnie" Jones and a sister, Pearline Williams. Mrs. Jones is survived by: three son, Larry Elton Jones, of Watertown, Mass., Jerry Wayne Jones, of Grovetown, Ga. and W.M. "Bill" Jones, of Hope Mills, daughter, Melody Faye Thursby, of Fayetteville, three brothers, Ottis Tyndall and Dentley Tyndall, both of Salemburg and Curtis Tyndall, of Roseboro, sister, Nadine Pope, of Roseboro, 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild. The family will receive friends Saturday night from 7 till 9 PM at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
