ROSEBORO
Mrs. Bertha Lee Faircloth, 76 of 18 Barber-Cooper Lane, died on Monday, May 26, 2008 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2008 at 4:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home with the Rev. James Barker, Rev. Donald R. Massey, and Rev. Randy Locklear officiating. Burial will follow at Roseboro Cemetery.
Mrs. Faircloth was born in 1931 in Sampson County to the late William B. and Rhoda Lee Hall Parker. She is preceded in death by a grandson, Deayne Armstrong. She was a retired Cafeteria Worker with Sampson County Schools.
Mrs. Faircloth is survived by: her husband, James Manley Faircloth of the home; three daughters, Ann Long of Clinton, Susan Armstrong of New Bern, and Wendy Butler of Autryville; two sons, Woody Faircloth and Manley Faircloth both of Roseboro; two sisters, Gaydell Turner of Autryville, and Glenda Warner of Columbus, Ohio; two brothers, Benny Parker of Fayetteville, and Doug Parker of Arizona; eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 3 until 4 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, and other times at the home.
