Mrs. Bernita Ann Barrick Cooper, 62

HOPE MILLS, N.C.

Mrs. Bernita Ann Barrick Cooper, 62 of Hope Mills, passed away Friday, February 3, 2017 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

She was born December 26, 1954 in Cumberland County, PA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar Lee and Eloise Jane Bullard Barrick, and was the granddaughter of Paul and Leeanna Bullard.

She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Joseph "Joe" Cooper; children, Calvin and wife Maria Hall, Jr., Daniel and wife Natasha Hall, Angie Cooper; grandchildren, Calvin Hall, III, Daniel Hall, Jr., Devon Hall, Caden Hall, Damien Hall, Alauranna Cooper, Ashley Cooper, David Johnson, Trey Spell, Kaylie Sellers, Alexis Sellers; sister, Pam and husband Delmas Royster; brothers, Larry Barrick, Danny and wife Lucille Phillips, Roger Barrick; sisters-in-law, Toni Weigle, Delia Geraghty.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45pm Monday at Beaver Dam Baptist Church, Roseboro. The funeral will follow at 2:00pm with Pastor Bill Cavalier officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
