STEDMAN

Mrs. Berniece R. Horne, 91 of Stedman, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at her home.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Friday, April 7, at Macedonia Baptist Church, 5064 Macedonia Church Road, Fayetteville, with Pastor Steve Lloyd and Pastor Donald Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Born August 17, 1925 in Dillon County, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late George and Kitsey Goodyear Raynor. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Avery Horne; and two children, Leroy Horne, and Joyce Starling. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by two children, Johnny C. Horne and wife Faye, and Joanne Creswell; one sister, Susie Grice; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45pm Friday prior to the service, and other times at the home of her son, Johnny, 5507 NC Highway 210 S., Stedman.
