FAYETTEVILLE
Mrs. Berline Hall Fisher, 74 of 319 Rock Hill Road, died on Monday, May 24, 2010 at The Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center in Fayetteville.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 28, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Vander Church of God with Rev. Michael Owens and Rev. Donald Ray Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
Mrs. Fisher was born on December 17, 1935 in Sampson County. She is preceded in death by: her parents, Hermie Hall Faircloth and D. M. "Shortie" Faircloth; her husband, Earl C. Fisher; one brother, David A. Hall; and one sister, Nellie M. Turner. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Fisher is survived by: two daughters, Connie F. Johnson and husband, Donald Ray of Albemarle, and Glenda "Susie" F. Melvin and husband, Tony of Eastover; one son, Kenneth "Kenny" Earl Fisher and wife, Kathy of Fayetteville; three sister, Bonnie C. Matthews and Debbie F. Morgan both of Fayetteville, and Janice Naylor of Stedman; one brother, Donnie E. Hall of Stedman; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and a special friend, Robin E. Jackson.
The family will receive friends on Friday afternoon from 12:30 to 2 P.M. at Vander Church of God, and other times at the home of Susie and Tony Melvin, 3414 Vance Melvin Road, Eastover.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Vander Church of God, 3716 Clinton Road, Fayetteville, NC 28312.
