Mrs. Belva Ann Hall Maxwell

Mrs. Belva Ann Hall Maxwell, 71 of Stedman, passed away Friday, August 15, 2014 at Kitty Askins Hospice Home in Goldsboro. She was born in Sampson County to the late Belvin Carver Hall and Annie Lou Averitt Hall. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Clarence D. Hall and Belvin Carver Hall, Jr. Mrs. Maxwell was the Cost Clerk with the Cumberland County Board of Education, she worked for Weight Watchers and was a former Stedman Town Commissioner. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Monday, August 18, 2014 at Stedman Baptist Church, officiating will be Dr. Phil Spears. Interment will follow at Fisher Cemetery. She is survived by husband, Jeff Maxwell of the home; son, Jeffrey Carver Maxwell and wife, Kathy of Fayetteville and granddaughter, Kate Maxwell of Fayetteville. The family will receive friends tonight, Sunday August 17, 2014 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
