Mrs. Beatrice T. Jackson, 81

FAYETTEVILLE Mrs. Beatrice Tew Jackson, 81 of 1500 Decent Road, passed away on Monday April 6, 2009 at Bethesda Health Care in Eastover. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. Barry Byrd officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in St. Pauls. Mrs. Jackson was a native of Cumberland County and a lifelong member of Judson Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Daniel and Mary Belle Tew. Mrs. Jackson was a homemaker, but above all she was always a mother. She is preceded in death by: three sisters; Peggy Honeycutt, Mozzelle Hemingway and Idell Adams; and one brother Jerry Cameron Tew. Mrs. Jackson is survived by: her husband, Sam Jackson of the home; one daughter, Linda Gail Carter of Fayetteville; one son Larry A. Jackson and wife Beverly of Fayetteville; grandchildren Allan Jackson Jr. of Fayetteville, Melanie Thompson of Stedman, Angela Jackson of Fayetteville and Tina Michelle Canady of Fayetteville; great granchildren Stepanie Canady of Fayetteville and Gavin Thompson of Stedman; and one sister Dorothy Wilburn of Fayetteville. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman.
