Mrs. Beatrice M. Carroll, 90

AUTRYVILLE Mrs. Beatrice Matthews Carroll, 90, passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at her home. Funeral services to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, September 24, 2010 at her beloved Bethabara United Methodist Church with Rev. Dorothy Rudd officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Carroll was born on October 26, 1919 in Sampson County. She is preceded in death by her husband, Garthia Carroll, her parents, and all of her brothers and sisters. She is survived by: her daughter, Linda Harris and husband, Terry; two sons, Kenneth Carroll and wife, Brenda, and Allen Carroll and wife, Susan; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. on Thursday evening at Bethabara United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to Bethabara United Methodist Church Building Fund, 5092 Maxwell Road, Autryville, NC 28318.
