Mr. Barry Clark Templin, 65 of Roseboro went to the Lord on Monday, January 9, 2023 at the Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, January 13 at Mintz Baptist Church with Dr. Robert Hunter officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 1:50 PM on Friday at Mintz Baptist Church prior to the service.

Barry was a native of Reading, PA, the son of Herbert Clark and Mary Ellen McCord Templin.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Barry was a loving husband of more than 40 years, a caring father to his children and their friends, and a teacher and mentor to those that partook in his stories and wisdom throughout his life.

When Barry was not sharing his life experience and wisdom he was an avid lover of American military history and battlefields; historical and model trains.  He also enjoyed movies like “Mama Mia!” “Eddie and the Cruisers” and the band, “ABBA”.

He is survived by his wife, Cyndi Templin of the home; sons, Alex Templin of Roseboro and Kyle Templin and wife, Kelly of Bel Air, Maryland; daughter, Erin Templin and husband, Timothy Ringo of Fayetteville; two grandchildren, Bailey Templin and Makenna Templin; and his brother, Gregg Templin and wife, Debbie of Sinking Spring, PA.
