Barbara Verrier was a woman whose life was shaped by love-love for her family, her home, and the simple joys that made her smile. She was a devoted homemaker, an exceptional cook, and a tireless housekeeper who took pride in creating a warm and welcoming home. Her heart was full of care, and everything she did reflected the deep affection she held for those she loved.
Barbara was especially close to her beloved sister, Betty Waters. Their bond was a constant source of joy and strength, built over a lifetime of shared laughter, heartfelt talks, and countless shopping trips- many of which involved their favorite pastime of watching QVC together. Together, Barbara and Betty lovingly cared for their dear parents, Percy and Laura Hall, for many years, offering the kind of devotion only daughters can give.
Barbara was also a beautician by trade, someone who appreciated beauty in all its forms. That love extended to the flowers and plants she nurtured around her home and to the many cats she cared for over the years, each one cherished as part of the family.
A woman of quiet but steadfast faith, Barbara read her Bible and prayed daily. Her relationship with the Lord brought her peace, purpose, and comfort. We know with certainty that the Lord she loved so faithfully now holds her close.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Percy and Laura Hall; her loving husband, Robert Verrier, whom she now joins in eternal peace. Barbara is survived by her devoted son, Lennon, and his wife, Tracy, who were the pride of her heart. She also leaves behind her beloved sister, Betty and brother-in-law, J.B. Waters, whose love and companionship meant the world to her.
Though our family is small, we are close, and Barbara’s passing leaves a space in our hearts that cannot be filled. We loved her deeply, and we will miss her always. Her spirit, her laughter, and her boundless love will remain with us, a guiding light and a beautiful memory.
