Fayetteville Mrs. Barbara Ann Thurston, 61, of 4766 Cedar Creek Road, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010 at The Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center in Fayetteville. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 23, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Cedar Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. John Peverett officiating. Mrs. Thurston was born in Mineola, New York on March 25, 1949 to the late Albert Thurston and Magalene Ivey Thurston. Mrs. Thurston is survived by: brother, Paul Thurston, of Colorado; sister, Janice Curcuru, of New York; half-brother, Ronald Thurston, of Colorado; half-sister, Susan McCoy, of Florida.
