Barbara Ann (Packard) Stewart

Ms. Barbara Ann (Packard) Stewart, 76 went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, November 20, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Eastside Church of God in Fayetteville, officiating will be Pastor Donald Baldwin.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM Saturday at the church prior to the service.

Burial will occur at a later date with the immediate family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Kathleen Packard; her husband, Andrew Stewart, Jr.; brother, Arthur “Billy” Packard.

Barbara was a CNA for Hearts of Hope Group Home in Fayetteville, she was also a member of Eastside Church of God and Open Arms Ministry.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Andrew Stewart, III of Fayetteville, Michael Stewart & wife, Kathryn of Virginia Beach, VA, and Anthony Stewart & wife, Andrea of Raleigh; grandchildren, Brittany Goins & husband, Johnathan, Brandon, Jackson, Ian and Claire Stewart; great grandchildren, Hayleigh Spake, Zayne Goins, Mason Tigart and Karson Varnum; sister, Joyce Clifton of Johns Creek, GA;  numerous nieces and nephews; best friend, Doris Jacobs; former daughter-in-law, Monica Barbour; and all of those who called her “Grandma”.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Eastside Church of God, 2217 Clinton Road, Fayetteville, NC  28312, or to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org.
