Mrs. Barbara Jean Nunnery Parnell, 55

STEDMAN

Mrs. Barbara Jean Nunnery Parnell, 55 of Stedman, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 23 at 1:00 pm at Concord Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry West officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Nunnery was a native of Cumberland County and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Page Nunnery. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Parnell; her father, Truitt Nunnery; a daughter, Crystal Smith and husband, Brandon; a son, Larry Parnell, Jr. and wife, Haley; four grandchildren, Leila Smith, Amber Smith, Addison Parnell and Caleb Parnell; two brothers, Allen Nunnery and Douglas Nunnery; and a sister, Norma Nunnery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, January 22 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
