Barbara (Mclemore) Daniels

Mrs. Barbara McLemore Daniels, 71 of Salemburg went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at UNC Rex Hospital in Raleigh surrounded by her family.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Baptist Chapel Church with Rev. Tre Wiggins and Rev. Lacey Norris officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday, October 18, 2024 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and at other times at the home.

Mrs. Daniels was a native of Cumberland County, the daughter of Lewis Paul McLemore and Elizabeth Ann Ivey Cook.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ricky Wallace Daniels; sister, Debbie Lynn Baker and great niece, Kayla Brooke Buelna.  She was the IT Department Manager for Star Communications for many years.

She is survived by her loving son, Jeffrey Daniels; daughter, Marissa Jados; granddaughter, Abigail Jados; nephew, Frankie Buelna and wife, Donna; great nephews, Avery Buelna and Andrew Buelna; brother, Donald McLemore and wife, Kay; her baby sister, Jennifer Bledsole; niece, Tabitha Murphy; nephew, Robert Farinas and numerous loving family members.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s  Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN  38105.
