GARLAND

Miss Barbara Lee Ashworth, 75 of Garland, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Elizabethtown Nursing Center.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00pm Tuesday, September 19, at Syfrett Family Cemetery with Reverend David Bays officiating.

Born October 5, 1941 in Cumberland County, she was the daughter of the late Joe Thomas and Doris Lucille Morrison Ashworth. She worked as a Dispatcher with Carolina Telephone.

She is survived by her nephews, Joe Syfrett, Donnie Ashworth; and nieces, Robin Dickey, Leigh Ann Ashworth.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00pm Monday at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
