Mr. Bailey Butler Starling, 81

AUTRYVILLE Mr. Bailey Butler Starling, 81 of 10361 NC Hwy. 210 S., Autryville, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2015 at First Health Hospice House in West End. The funeral service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, September 22 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with Dr. Odell Peterson and Rev. Michael Shook officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Starling was born September 24, 1933 in Cumberland County to the late Gaston and Fannie Hair Starling. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict and retired from Monsanto as a Utility Operator. He is survived by his wife, Beulah Knight Starling; two daughters, Betsy Simpson and husband Donald, Gail Williams and husband Doug all of Roseboro; one son, Jamie B. Starling and wife Julie of Durham; three grandchildren, Chris Simpson of Fayetteville, Daniel Simpson and wife Cheryl of Roseboro, Ben Starling of Durham; one great granddaughter, Lauren Simpson; and four sisters. The family will receive friends 10:00 to 10:45 am Tuesday morning at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and other times at the home. Arrangements by Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro.
