Miss Maria Aslean Edge, 85 of Roseboro went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Southwood Nursing Center.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 21 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with Rev. Andy Wood officiating.  Burial follow in the Sunrise Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM - 1:50 PM Sunday prior to the service.

Miss Edge was born in Cumberland County on May 10, 1936 to Leamon and Lillie Faircloth Edge.  She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Deborah Edge; grandson, Terry Edge; two sisters, Christine Hall and Kathleen Davis; brother, Bobby Earl Edge.

She is survived by two sisters, Mary Melvin of Autryville and Ernestine Simmons of Roseboro; two brothers, Robert Lee “Buddy” Edge and wife, Pat of Roseboro and Billy Edge and wife, Debbie of Benson; and several nieces and nephews.
