Mr. Arval Gipson Holland,, 79 Sr.

Mr. Arval Gipson Holland, Sr., 79, of 1617 Libbie Road, Autryville, passed away Monday, May 1, 2006 at his home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at 3 PM at Hall's United Methodist Church with the Rev. Carrie Parrish and Rev. Alan Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Holland was a native of Sampson County and the son of the late Lottis Turner and Eva Clyde Lewis Holland. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II. Mr. Holland is survived by: wife, Margaret Holland, of the home; daughter, Shari Holden, of Wade; two sons, A.G. Holland, Jr. and Robert T. Holland, both of Autryville; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. The family will recieve friends Tuesday night, May 2, 2006 from 7 till 9 PM at Butler Funeral Home, Roseboro.
