STEDMAN

Mr. Arthur Paul Royal, 91 of 6455 Maxwell Road, Stedman, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, September 17 at Bethany United Methodist Church, 2285 Wade-Stedman Road, Stedman, with Rev. Larry Myrick and Rev. Jim Owen officiating. A private burial will be held.

Mr. Royal was born February 18, 1924 in Cumberland County and worked as an Appliance Repairman. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He is preceded in death by his parents, Langford Paul and Bertie Blake Royal; and his wife, Pansy H. Royal.

He is survived by two sons, Johnny Royal and Joel Royal both of Stedman; and two sisters, Wanda McMillan of Wade and Corenna Cain of Fayetteville.

The family will receive friends following the service Thursday afternoon at Bethany United Methodist Church.
