Mr. Arthur Melvin Guin, 90

FAYETTEVILLE Mr. Arthur Melvin Guin, 90, of Fayetteville, died Monday, February 3, 2014, at First Health of the Carolina Hospice House. Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 6, 2014, at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with Rev. Dennis Goodwin officiating. Burial will follow in the LaFayette Memorial Park with military honors. Mr. Guin was born on September 28, 1923, in Hoke County to the late Henry Vincent and Elsie M. Capps Guin. He was a retired Staff SGT with the US Army. He is survived by: his daughter, Jackie Guin of Fayetteville; his son, Arthur M. Guin, Jr., of Fayetteville; one sister, Nellie Lytle of Swansboro, NC; 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45 P.M. prior to the service at the funeral home. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman.
