Mr. Arnold "Dick" Jolly, 77

WILMINGTON Mr. Arnold "Dick" Jolly, 77 of 112 Sweetwater Drive, died Sunday January 7, 2007 at Duplin General Hospital in Kenansville. Funeral services will be held on Thursday January 11, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with the Rev. Andy Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Salemburg. Mr. Jolly was born in 1929 in Sampson County, and the son of the late Emma Jolly. He is preceded in death by his wife, Donna Jolly, and his daughter, Lorna Allemore. He was a retired owner and operator of Jolly's Tire Service in Wilmington, and a previous employee of Burlington Mills in Fayetteville and Northgate Petroleum. He was a resident in Glen Care Nursing Home in Warsaw. He was caregiver to his wife during her illness. Mr. Jolly is survived by: his son, Arnold "Dickie" Jolly, Jr., and wife Sheri S. Jolly of Wilmington; three grandchildren, Tonya Allemore Landrith of Roseboro, Brandon D. Allemore of Roseboro, and Aaron D. Jolly of Wilmington; and three great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:30 until 8:30 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
